Kemenesi Zsuzsanna fotográfus, kommunikáció kutató. Vizuális Kommunikációt
tanít a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Kommunikáció- és Médiatudományi Tanszékén. A
Kaposvári Egyetem Fotóművészeti karának adjunktusa. Doktori disszertációjának
témája: A fotográfia és szöveg egymásban foglaltsága - a fotókalligráfiától
a multi-image-ig. 1999-2002 között Pécsi József Fotóművészeti Ösztöndíjas,
1996-1997 az Jáva szigetén az Art Institute of Indonesia, Yogyakarta Média
Karának Fotográfia szakán ösztöndíjas hallgató. 1994-ben Londonban tanult
és 2000-ben egy rezidencia program keretében Salzburgban alkotott. 2005-ben
a Magyar Fotóművészek Szövetségének elnökségi tagjává választották. Önálló
albuma 2001-ben a Városháza Kiadó gondozásában jelent meg Magánbeszéd címen.
Munkáival ázsiai, amerikai és európai kiállításokon találkozhatunk.
Zsuzsanna Kemenesi is a photographer, visual communication researcher. She
is an Adjunct Professor in the Photography Department at the University of
Kaposvár. Kemenesi also frequently lectures and pursues researches in the
Communication and Media Theory Department at the University of Pécs. Her Ph.D
dissertation is about the "Simultaneity of the visual and verbal forms
of expressions in photography - from calligraphy to multiple images".
Between 1999-2002, Zsuzsanna Kemenesi is a József Pécsi Fine Art Photography
Grant holder. In 1996-1997 she was a scholarship holder in the Photography
Department at the Art Institute of Indonesia, Java, Yogyakarta by the Indonesian
Cultural and Educational Ministry. Previously she studied in London in 1994
and participated in a residency program in Salzburg 2000. She is the Board
Member of the Hungarian Association of Photographers from 2005. The Kemenesi's
photo album titled Soliloquy was published by the City Hall of Budapest in
2001. Her works can be seen on exhibitions in America, Asia and all around
Europe.
